''Lin-sanity'' inspires Sunlake Point Guard

Land O'Lakes, Florida -- This whole "Lin-sanity" thing is nothing new to Sunlake basketball player Brenden Huynh. He's been a Jeremy Lin fan since the beginning.

"I kind of got mad, because everyone just hopped on the bandwagon. He's been one of my favorite player for a while, I just saw him and he was Asian so I had to like him," joked Huynh.

Much like Jeremy Lin, this Asian-American point guard -- who averaged double digits in his Sophomore season -- has earned himself quite a few nicknames.

Taylor talks Gators, Pease, weights

Tampa, Fla. -- Kent Taylor is impressive both in his play and stature.

At 6'5", 235 pounds, Taylor literally stood above his high school competition at Land O'Lakes High.  His abilities earned him a trip to the U.S. Army All-America game.

Despite all that, Taylor is realistic as he prepares for his first college season next fall at Florida.

"I'm not ready yet physically," Taylor said. "That's the thing about tight end that people don't understand. You have to be able to block a defensive end that's 280 pounds."
