New curbside recycling- just put a sticker on it!

New curbside recycling- just put a sticker on it!

Pasco County, Florida -- In mid- June the county is changing to a new recycling program where people can use whatever container they want to keep their recyclables in- as long as it has a sticker on it.

The county is distributing this sticker in the mail. It is highly adhesive and highly reflective. The idea is that a person can choose a can, cart or bin, put a sticker on it and put it on the curb for recycling day.

The sticker will identify the contents as recyclable to the trash collector.
