San Antonio, Florida -- Pasco County Commissioner Theodore "Ted" Schrader was arrested Sunday night for domestic battery, according to sheriff's officials.
Pasco Sheriff's deputies say Schrader and his wife of 30 years got into an argument Friday night and went into their separate bedrooms.
The next morning, his wife told police, he walked into her bedroom and she turned away from him onto her left side to avoid a confrontation. That's when he grabbed her left wrist and left leg and pulled her towards him against her will.
During an interview with deputies, Schrader reportedly admitted he grabbed her left upper arm to try to speak to her. When she was looked over by deputies, they noted bruises to her left wrist.
She declined medical treatment and Schrader was arrested and charged with domestic battery.
