AAA offers "Tow To Go" service Memorial Day weekend

Tampa Bay, Florida-- It's hard to imagine why one would risk getting behind the wheel while intoxicated, but AAA's "To to Go" program makes it that much harder.

According to AAA's website, "To to Go" offers intoxicated drivers a free, confidential ride to a safe place within a 10 mile radius, along with a free tow for their car.

Deadlines for chamber breakfast approaching

Pasco County, Florida --Members of the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee have planned a breakfast featuring Pasco County legislators to be held on Friday, May 31.

The breakfast will be held at the Spartan Manor (6121 Massachusetts Ave., New Port Richey, FL 34653) beginning at 8 a.m. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. and a full breakfast buffet will be available for attendees.

Pasco Animal Services caring for dozens of animals seized

LAND O'LAKES, Florida - Dozens of animals taken from a Holiday home are now being cared for at Pasco County Animal Services. Some of the animals were noticeably neglected, while others, not so much. Most of them are pure breeds that are pretty pricey.

Giant beehive worries Lutz neighborhood

Lutz, Florida -- There's a buzzing problem in Pasco County.

Neighbors are afraid and frustrated about a giant beehive in the 1600 block of Osprey Lane in Lutz. It's hanging 20 feet in the air from a dead tree.

One neighbor tells us the hive has grown in the past year, and she's angry, because the neighborhood association never did anything about it, and now the house is up for rent.
